KNITTED SWATCHES

These swatches were knitted on a Bond Knitting Frame using Key Plate 3. This is equivalent to an American size 6/7 needle. The gauge is 15 st. by 22 rows = 4". This was knitted from cones and had a small amount of spinning oil. As you would expect, washing relaxed the yarn and fulled it slightly. The swatches are shown on a background of 1/2" gingham or a plain dark color to illustrate the coverage. The top set is the creamy Romney white and the lower set is done with the natural grey.
